I have a slight obsession with antiques. And by “slight,” my husband may have a very different definition.

There’s something about an old piece that has been loved, used, and passed down through generations that gets me every time. I’ve always loved stories, too—especially the ones shared by my grandparents, parents, and in-laws about the people, places, and moments that shaped their lives.

I think that’s why I love photography.

I don’t just want to take pretty pictures. I want to preserve the moments that become part of your family’s story—the dress you wore, your grandmother’s hands, your dad’s reaction, and the little moments you didn’t even realize were happening.

Because one day, those photographs will be your antiques.

And yes, my husband may occasionally suggest we have enough antiques.

I respectfully disagree.
